For this Riverside home staging project, we used a color palette very different from our usual. The walls had already been painted blue before we were hired, so my usual go-to palette that includes a lot of black accents wasn't going to work. I purchased some new inventory with blue accents to stage this house and have since used it again in this Upland home.
Blue is a great color for staging because it's consistently revealed as the most popular color in every survey, with the second most popular colors being green.
This Riverside home also had a lot of different shades of brown in the flooring, cabinetry, and countertops, so I intentionally used multiple shades of brown in the inventory I selected to stage this property, as well.
This home was very outdated and in need of renovating, but the staging we provided sill helped it go into escrow just eight days after listing for $25,000 over the asking price!
